Our volunteers are the heart of our organisation
We are mainly run by volunteers, and we would love to match your skills and energy to a much-needed role within our resource centre.
There is a broad range of opportunities to work together with us, from being in the supply team (who collect resources), opening the centre, sorting and sewing in our fabric room, organising the resources, or working behind the scenes keeping the volunteers cared for!

& support our mahi
Even if you don’t have time to volunteer there are still many ways to support our mahi.
Tell people about us, and sign up to receive our digital newsletter. Share our newsletter with your networks and friends. Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages and love and share our posts.
Send us photographs to share of your creations and the stories behind them so we can share with our community. Every action counts.
Pay it forward
Don’t need the resources but want to support the kaupapa then pay it forward and we will use the funds to ensure we move more resources in through the centre as well as ensuring that those who may need support to access the resources can do it.
You can donate directly to our bank account.
Givealittle is a non-profit platform which connects New Zealand causes with generous donors.
As a charity every little bit of funding counts especially as we want to grow our centre, including opening longer hours and getting more resources into the centre and out to the community to be reused.

Thank you for supporting our charity to continue to provide resources for creative and educational purposes.
Together we’ve been reducing landfill waste for over 40 years and we think that’s something special.
We hope you do too!
